Forestry Innovation Investment Archiving project
This project involved archiving and the creation of a data base for all of Foresty Innovation Investment\'s HD and SD footage.
Our team received tapes in many formats which included PAL, HDV, DigiBeta, Betacam SP and DVCam. We organised and digitized all the footage from the source tapes and created clips which were then entered into a data base.
Our client now has access to their entire video library. They can also view video thumbnails of all their clips. Anyone requesting B Roll for a project can access these clips.
Forestry Innovation Investment and their industry stakeholders had carried out video projects with a variety of suppliers over the past years and amassed a wealth of footage on the forest industry from heli-logging and workers in manufacturing facilities to forest environments and building homes. As a result of building a user-friendly archive tool and system, with the help of As You Like It, we are better prepared to meet the footage requests of industry, government and media.
